New Season Starting Saturday Feb 4 on CHEK TV

We are extremely pleased to announce that our NEW SEASON of Sport Fishing On The Fly will begin airing on CHEK, starting Saturday Feb. 4th at 2PM (PST).

The new season will be starting on the World Fishing Network soon, and we will post and update with an exact date once everything is confirmed.

The show is once again being produced completely in Trail, BC, and we would like to thank everyone for their patience as we transitioned the productions back to our hometown.

This season has a little bit of everything - big Steelhead and Coho on the Skeena, chunky Rainbows from the East Kootenays, spectacular scenery and fishing at Redfern River Lodge, incredible Arctic Char and Brook Trout fishing with Arctic Adventures in northern Quebec, of course Bone and Tarpon fishing in Cuba, and more.

Although we've never taken ourselves too seriously, our approach to the show moving forward is to emphasize how fun fly fishing is, and of course to showcase the beautiful locations we get to visit. Be sure to check out the new intro below.

SFOTF Series 8 Ep. 05 Small River Fishing

On this episode, Don and Grant are being guided by Travis Lowe, who has taken them to a small river near Revelstoke, British Columbia. They are targeting cutthroat trout, who are actively feeding on green drakes. On the bench, Don ties up his Parachute Green Drake, a fly that was working well for them that day.
