SFOTF On Location - Skeena River

This week, Don, Dale and some friends headed up to Terrace, British Columbia to fish for steelhead. Last night they sent me a clip of Dale landing a 7 pound steelhead on the Skeena River. You will be able to watch the entire trip when it's edited for next season.

On this Quick Tip, Brian Chan talks about the importance of having a fish finder when fishing lakes, especially for finding the depth. Don shows a less accurate but more affordable way to achieve the same results, using a pair of forceps.

This Week's Upload: Series 7 Ep. 07 Bow River Contestants

This week, Don and Grant are fishing one of their favorite waters, the Bow River in Alberta, Canada. They are fishing with two trade show contestant winners, who hook into some beautiful Rainbow and Brown trout. On the bench, Don ties up a Woolhead Sculpin.

This Week's Upload: Series 7 Ep. 06 Pacific Coho

This week, Don and Grant are fishing the west coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. They are targeting the prized Chinook Salmon, the largest of the Pacific Salmon species, but end up hooking into some feisty Coho Salmon, and Black Rockfish.

This week, Don and Grant fish the mouth of the Adams River, in British Columbia Canada. The rainbows stack up here, feeding on the eggs from the migrating salmon. On The Bench, Don ties up a very simple, yet effective egg pattern called the Sparkle Egg.
