Would this pattern work in the fresh water for the salmon when they get in the rivers ?
A familiar food source for them ?

Hi Grant,

That's a good question and one that I can't answer, since we have never tried this pattern in the freshwater. I can't see why it wouldn't work. It is big and colorful and would probably make they mad enough to eat it.

Give it a try and let me know how you make out.
