Place conehead onto hook and tie on thread. |

Take some olive marabou and tie in a tail which should be about hook length. |

Tie in some small copper wire that will be used to rib the fly later. |

Dub some marabou fibers onto the thread or form a marabou dubbing loop. |

Wrap the dubbing forward to form a nice, tapered body. |

Wind the wire forward to form about 6 to 7 ribs. |

Add more dubbing to form a bushy thorax on the fly. |

Pick out thorax dubbing to make the fly look bushy. This fly works great when damsels are emerging in SHALLOW water (6 ft or less). |
