Hi Don, Do you have any video's fishing the booby?
I like to fish them on the point with another lure behind on a dropper. I tend to fish them on a full sinking line so that the booby is right on the bottom but it's buoyancy keeps it off a bit. Very successful on rainbows esp in winter when I usually fish a red setter on the dropper.
Hello Don,
Can you give me a bit more information on how to make up the eyes for this booby..Mainly were does one fine the foam for the eyes and mesh..i have gone to a number of stores with no luck..is this somthing i have to make up on my own?
Don... I used the Booby for the first time at "Hog Heaven" last week........... OMG. Needless to say I had to try it at "secret lake" by HWY3 ............ Again......... OMG I landed (and released) two RT 23"s. I havent even thought about that fly since we were at White tail with your bro Dale. Now that was a while ago... LOL. thanx for refreshing my memory on fly selection. Cob webs are a dangerous thing!
