Kelsey's Hope

Hook: Mustad C70SD Size 2
Thread: 3/0 Black
Body: Medium Silver Tinsel
Body Cover: 16 lb Tippet
U-Wing: Rainbow Polar Flash
M-Wing: Green Polar Bear
O-Wing: Blue Polar Bear

Tie in thread and Silver Tinsel.

Tie in 16lb test tippet material or mono.

Wrap tinsel forward to form a thin, bright silver body.

Wrap tippet material forward to form a complete segmented body cover. This will protect the tinsel body.

Tie in about 10 to 12 strands of the Rainbow Polar Flash, just past the length of the hook.

Tie in some green polar bear hair just past the length of polar flash.

Tie in some Blue polar bear hair just past the length of green polar bear hair.

Wrap the thread near the eyelet, to form a large black head, and finish with some head cement.

This pattern has caught Coho, Chinooks, Chums, and Pinks. My personal favourite for Coho in the salt and during the freshwater runs.
