Body/Tail: Pheasant Tail
Ribbing: Fine Gold Wire
Thorax: Peacock Herl

Put bead and thread onto hook.

Tie in about 6 pheasant tail tips for the tail.

Tie in a piece of fine gold wire for ribbing later.

Tie in about 8 segments of pheasant tail, by the tips, which will be used for the body.

Wrap the pheasant tail forward to form a thin, tapered body.

Make 4 to 5 ribs, over the body, with the fine gold wire.

Tie in about 5 mallard tips to form a small wing on the fly.

Whip finish and the fly is ready for use.
