Prince Nymph

Hook: Size 14 – 3x long Streamer
Thread: 8/0 Black
Bead: 1/8 Gold
Tail: Brown Goose Biots
Body: Peacock Herl
Rib: Medium Gold Tinsel
Wing: White Goose Biots
Beard: Pheasant Rump

Slide bead onto hook. Take 2 goose biots and tie in as a SPLIT tail.

Tie in some medium gold tinsel, which will be used to rib the fly later.

Tie in 3 to 4 peacock herls, wrap them around your thread for strength and then wrap forward to form the body.

Tie in copper wire for ribbing later.

Tie in a pheasant rump feather near the eyelet.

Wrap hackle about 3 times to form beard.

Tie in 3 strands of peacock herl and wrap forward to form the head.

Tie in, on top of the head, two white goose biots for the wing and separate.

Whip finish at the bead and the fly is ready for those small nymphing streams.
