RS Quad Mayfly

Hook: Size 18 to 14 dry fly
Thread: 8/0 Cream
Shuck: Light orange Z-lon
Wing: Woodduck feather
Body: Turkey quill
Thorax: Dark olive dubbing
Hackle: Light brown neck

Take some orange Z-lon and tie it in for the shuck.

Tie in a turkey quill, which will be used for the body later.

Tie in a woodduck feather, para-post style.

Wrap turkey quill forward to form the body. Make sure to form the segments as you wrap.

Roll dubbing onto thread and then wrap in to form the thorax.

Tie in and wrap hackle around para-post wing.

Great little pattern for any Mayfly hatches.
