White Marabou Muddler

Tie in red soft hackle for a short tail. |

Wrap the body in with the metallic chenille. |

Put in a nice full long amount of white marabou for the wing. |

Place 3-4 strands of peacock herl over the marabou, make it the same length as the marabou. |

Wrap in some mule deer to start to form the head. On the first clump, leave a collar of deer hair that extends back over the wing. Do not trim this collar when forming the head! |

After wrapping in a bunch of deer hair (use small amounts and push the deer hair back to make room for more, you should use 3-4 clumps to form the head). |

Trim the head to give it a bullet shape. |

Whip finish and the fly is ready for the water. |
