On this episode, Don and Grant are joined by fisheries biologist Brian Chan. They are fishing for rainbow on a private lake at Douglas Lake Ranch, in late October. Brian describes in detail about the shrimp that are inhabiting the lake. On the bench, Don ties up his Pregnant Shrimp imitation.

On this episode, Don and Grant are being guided by Travis Lowe, who has taken them to a small river near Revelstoke, British Columbia. They are targeting cutthroat trout, who are actively feeding on green drakes. On the bench, Don ties up his Parachute Green Drake, a fly that was working well for them that day.

This week, Don and his brother Dale fish the Columbia River, near Trail British Columbia. It's spring, and they are fishing for the large Rainbow Trout who are moving up the river in preperation to spawn, and feeding heavily along the way. On the bench, Don ties up the Stone Bugger.

This week, Don and Grant are fishing White Lake, near Salmon Arm British Columbia. The lake has huge shoal areas with abundant aquatic life, and produces large Rainbow trout. On the bench, Don ties up the Damsel Leech - a pattern that can imitate either insect, depending how it's fished.

This week, Don and Grant are fishing near Little Fort, in the Thompson region of British Columbia. They are river fishing for large Rainbows with alevin and egg patterns during the annual salmon spawning run. Thompson river Rainbows follow the salmon up the various tributaries and rivers, and feed heavily on all that the salmon have to offer. This week, Grant goes fishing with Kelly Laatsch of St. Mary Angler. They are fishig for Westslope cutthroat trout on a tributary of the Elk River, in south eastern British Columbia. Kelly shares some of his tips and tricks to fishing these shallow waters, and they both catch some beautiful fish. On The Bench, Don ties up the Flav Mayfly, a pattern that proved effective for Grant and Kelly during the episode.

This week, Don, his brother Dale, and "Big" Al Dunbar fish the Oldman River in southern Alberta, Canada. They are without their usual cameraman, and find that filming themselves is as challenging as the fishing itself (and makes for some interesting footage). Nevertheless, they get into some beautiful fish, and catch it all on tape. On the bench, Don ties up a Mayfly Cripple.
