in this episode you mentioned the rainbows come from Shuswap Lake , i'm heading to Shuswap Lake in a few weeks and wondering if i would be able to catch them of the shore/dock with my flyrod if so please tell how.

Hi Dene,

Shuswap Lake is full on large Rainbows but they go fairly deep (>60+ ft) during the summer months. You can catch the smaller fish from shore in the early morning or late evening. The best times on Shuswap are spring at the creek mouths, fall when the salmon are migrating, and early summer when the salmon fry are moving down the rivers.
