I am actually commenting on the Columbia River rainbow episode I just watched on TV. I watch a lot of your episodes, and enjoy them. But I think it would be informative to the viewers like myself that when "pink mayflies" are coming off that you identify them for your viewers. I am pretty sure they were Epeorus Albertae...pink Alberts for use anglers on the SF of the Snake. They come off in the later part of the day like they did for you on the Columbia. Fish luv them. They provide excellent riffle water fishing for us. I often us a pink bodied comparadun because they have prominent high wings while you were using a parachute pattern, but I think it is the same bug. The guide you were fishing with should have been anxious to identify them for the audience. The hatches are generally not big in numbers, one here, and several there, but the fish know they are around and take a good replica very well. First time to this sight....very informative, and I will view it often. Thanks, Jere Crosby
