I really enjoyed the Columbia River episode. I lived in Nelson in the 70's and 80's and did a lot of fishing in the area. I kick myself for not paying more attention to the Columbia River. I wish Don had been around in back then. I would never have left the area. I wonder how the fishing is in the West Arm of Kootenay Lake around Balfour. It used to have some fairly good fly fishing for very large trout.
