Thread: 8/0 Black

Gills: White antron

Bead: Small silver tungsten

Tail: Green crystal flash

Tie in a small amount of white antron at the very front of the hook.

Whip finish thread and place bead onto the hook with the big hole towards the eyelet.

Put thread back onto hook and tie in one strand of green crystal flash near the hook bend.

Tie in some red wire, which will be used for the ribbing later.

Tie in the tinsel, which will be used for the body.

Wrap tinsel forward to form a thin body.

Wind red wire forward to form about 5 or 6 ribs on the fly.

Tie in one strand of peacock herl and wrap, behind the bead, to form a thorax.

Trim the gills so they are about 1/8" in length.

This fly works excellent for northern lake whitefish and big rainbows.
