Description
Dy’s Buggy Prince
Designed by Brent Schlenker, this pattern was our #1 fly during the 2016 North American Loch Style Championships (Bronze medal) and Dy Schlenker’s favorite lake pattern. NOTE: This fly is a Rainbow and Walleye killer…YES Walleye. Works GREAT on a type 3 sinking line when fish are in 8 to 12 feet of water.
Columbia River Nymph (Claret)
This nymph was designed to imitate the larval stage of insects along with free floating worms. Works best under an indicator when Caddis and/or mayflies are hatching. Also works well as a bloodworm in lakes, fished on or near the bottom.
Columbia River Nymph (Olive Green)
The Columbia River Nymph has been designed to catch fish during a multitude of hatches, hence the various colours we offer. The Olive Green Nymph seems to work best when the fish are feeding on emerging caddis and/or mayflies near the surface and also works great on an indicator when fishing lake shoals.
Don’s Purple Prince
The Purple Prince was originally designed as an attractor pattern on rivers, imitating emerging caddis and mayfly nymphs, but has proven to be effective on both rivers and lakes. Can be fished just below the surface on rivers using a dry line with long leaders or more effectively down about 8 feet using an indicator setup. Also, very effective fished with a slow retrieve on lakes using a clear intermediate sink or hanging using an indicator setup.
Don’s Green Machine
The Green Machine was originally designed as an attractor pattern on rivers, imitating emerging caddis and mayfly nymphs, but has proven to be effective on both rivers and lakes. Can be fished just below the surface on rivers using a dry line with long leaders or more effectively down about 8 feet using an indicator setup. Also, very effective fished with a slow retrieve on lakes using a clear intermediate sink or hanging using an indicator setup.
Don’s Orange Caddis Nymph
This Prince Nymph imitates a variety of Nymphs but specifically designed to imitate smaller Caddis and, when tied larger, October Caddis Nymphs. Very effective pattern to use under an indicator or floating freely in the current.
